The 25th Annual SAG Awards® will air live Sunday, Jan. 27, 2019 on TNT and TBS 

LOS ANGELES (Jan. 25, 2019) —The complete roster of exemplary talent who will be on stage at the 25th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards® on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT was announced today by SAG Awards Executive Producer Kathy Connell. The show, hosted by Megan Mullally, will be simulcast live on TNT and TBS. The telecast also is made available with Spanish subtitles and is distributed internationally, including to U.S. military installations through the American Forces Network. 

A highlight of the evening will be Tom Hanks presenting the 55th SAG Life Achievement Award to Alan Alda. More information about Alan Alda and the Award can be found here.

Tom Hanks was the first ever to receive an Actor® for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role. Jodie Foster was the first ever to receive an Actor® for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role. As part of this year’s celebration, both actors will be on the SAG Awards stage as presenters for the show’s Silver Anniversary. In a poetic gesture, Foster will present the final award of the night: Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.

A list of the actors who will be introducing clips of their nominated motion picture cast performances, along with another list of those who will be presenting tributes and the SAG Awards Actor® statuettes for outstanding film and television performances follows (in alphabetical order). 

Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture

A signature feature of the SAG Awards is five motion pictures whose actors are nominated for their outstanding performance as a cast. For the Silver Anniversary SAG Awards, the nominees introducing clips from their films will be:

Black Panther

Angela Bassett (9-1-1, Mission: Impossible – Fallout) is nominated for her performance in the cast of Black Panther. She has two previous SAG Awards nominations. Her other honors include a Golden Globe® and an Oscar® nomination, both for her lead role in What's Love Got to Do with It, along with four Emmy nominations and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

BlacKkKlansman

Adam Driver (BlacKkKlansman, Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi) is a double SAG Awards nominee for BlacKkKlansman, one for his supporting role performance as Flip Zimmerman and the other as a member of the cast. These are his first SAG Awards nominations. His other acting honors include three Primetime Emmy nominations, a BAFTA Award nomination and a Golden Globe®.

John David Washington (BlacKkKlansman; Monsters and Men) is a double SAG Awards nominee for BlacKkKlansman, one for his leading role performance as Ron Stallworth and the other as a member of the cast. These are his first SAG Awards nominations. His performance also earned him a Golden Globe® nomination and other plaudits.

Bohemian Rhapsody

Ben Hardy (The Woman in White, Only the Brave) is nominated for a SAG Award as a cast member in the motion picture Bohemian Rhapsody, in which he portrayed Queen’s drummer Roger Taylor. This is his first SAG Award nomination. After several years on British stage and television, he made his film debut in X-Men: Apocalypse.

Gwilym Lee (Jamestown, Top End Wedding) is nominated for a SAG Award as a cast member of the motion picture Bohemian Rhapsody, in which he portrayed Queen’s guitarist Brian May. This is his first SAG Award nomination. His work on the British stage earned him an Ian Charleson Award plus an additional nomination. 

Rami Malek (Mr. Robot, Papillon) is a double SAG Awards nominee for the motion picture Bohemian Rhapsody, one for his performance as Queen’s lead singer Freddie Mercury and the other as a member of the cast, a role that earned him a Golden Globe® and a BAFTA nomination. He previously received two SAG Award nominations and a Primetime Emmy plus two Golden Globe® nominations for his lead role in Mr. Robot

Joe Mazzello (Undrafted, The Social Network) is nominated for a SAG Award as a cast member of the motion picture Bohemian Rhapsody, in which he portrayed Queen’s bass player John Deacon. This is his first SAG Award nomination. He previously received recognition for his portrayal of Dustin Moskovitz in The Social Network.

Crazy Rich Asians

Awkwafina (Crazy Rich Asians, Ocean's Eight) is nominated for a SAG Award as a cast member in the motion picture Crazy Rich Asians. She also co-presented the 25th SAG Awards nominees on Dec. 12. Awkwafina will next be seen in the near-future psychological thriller Paradise Hills.

Henry Golding (A Simple Favor, the upcoming Monsoon) is nominated for a SAG Award as a cast member in the motion picture Crazy Rich Asians, his feature film debut, in which he portrays the romantic lead Nick Young. This is his first SAG Awards nomination. He has previously received international recognition as a television presenter.

Ken Jeong (You Complete Me, Ho; The Hangover trilogy) is nominated for a SAG Award as a cast member in the motion picture Crazy Rich Asians, in which he portrays the nouveau riche Goh Wye Mun. This is his first SAG Award nomination. He previously received recognition for his television performances in Community and for the title role in Dr. Ken, as well as for his voice-over work.

Constance Wu (Fresh Off the Boat, Crazy Rich Asians) is nominated for a SAG Award as part of the Crazy Rich Asians cast, recognizing her performance as romantic lead Rachel Chu, a role that also earned her a Golden Globe® nomination for Best Actress in a Comedy and several other accolades. This is her first SAG Awards nomination. 

Michelle Yeoh (Star Trek: Discovery, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2) is nominated for a SAG Award recognizing her performance as a member of the Crazy Rich Asians cast as the formidable Eleanor Young, a role that also earned her a Golden Globe® nomination. This is her first SAG Awards nomination. She received international recognition, including a BAFTA nomination, for her lead performance in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon

A Star Is Born

Bradley Cooper (American Sniper, American Hustle) is a double SAG Awards nominee for an Actor® recognizing his lead role as Jackson Maine and among the cast of A Star Is Born.  His performance also earned him leading role Oscar®, Golden Globe® and BAFTA award nominations, among others.  He previously won a SAG Award as a member of the American Hustle cast, and has received two additional nominations. 

Sam Elliot (The Ranch, The Hero) is a double SAG Awards nominee for A Star Is Born, one for his supporting role performance as Jackson Maine’s brother and manager, Bobby, and the other as a member of the cast. These are his first SAG Awards nominations. His other honors include an Oscar® nomination for this performance, as well as two Primetime Emmy and two Golden Globe® nominations for previous work.

Lady Gaga (American Horror Story) is a double SAG Awards nominee for A Star Is Born, one for the female lead role of Ally and the other as a member of the cast.  Her performance also earned her nominations for an Oscar®, a BAFTA and a Golden Globe®. These are her first SAG Awards nominations. Her other acting honors include a Golden Globe®, which are in addition to her numerous awards as one of the world’s best-selling music artists.

Anthony Ramos (Summertime, Monsters and Men) is nominated for an Actor® recognizing his performance in the cast of A Star Is Born, in which he portrays Ally’s best friend Ramon. This is his first SAG Award nomination. He previously won a Grammy® for his dual roles of John Laurens and Philip Hamilton in the Original Broadway Cast Recording of Hamilton.

Presenting The Actors® and Tributes

The following actors (in alphabetical order) will be presenting The Actor® statuettes and other tributes during the Silver Anniversary Screen Actors Guild Awards: 

Scott Bakula (NCIS: New Orleans, Behind the Candelabra) has produced six previous SAG Awards shows for SAG-AFTRA and served on the Screen Actors Guild’s Board of Directors. A household name since starring in Quantum Leap, his honors include a Golden Globe®, two additional Golden Globe® nominations, and five Primetime Emmy nominations.

Alec Baldwin (Mission: Impossible – Fallout, It's Complicated) has received eight SAG Awards for 30 Rock (2013, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008, 2007 for his leading role performance; 2009 as a member of the ensemble) plus 12 additional nominations. His other honors include an Oscar® nomination, three Primetime Emmys, three Golden Globes®, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Antonio Banderas (Life Itself, upcoming The Laundromat) received his first SAG Award nomination for his portrayal of Picasso in the limited series Genius, a role that also earned him nominations for a Primetime Emmy and a Golden Globe®. His previous honors include many European film awards and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Matt Bomer (The Last Tycoon, The Normal Heart) will next be seen as Larry Trainor/Negative Man in DC’s Doom Patrol. He is known to audiences for his work as two different characters in American Horror Story and has earned a Golden Globe® along with a Primetime Emmy nomination for his supporting role in The Normal Heart.

Gabrielle Carteris is an actor and activist. She became a household name playing Andrea Zuckerman on the iconic Aaron Spelling drama Beverly Hills, 90210 and has appeared in dozens of television shows including CSI, Code Black and Criminal Minds. Carteris also hosted a talk show Gabrielle and produced her own series of television specials. She became SAG-AFTRA president on April 9, 2016 and chairs the National TV/Theatrical Contracts Negotiating Committee, the Commercials Contracts Negotiating Committee and the President’s Task Force on Education, Outreach and Engagement among other appointments. In addition to serving as a vice president on the AFL-CIO’s executive council, Carteris represents SAG-AFTRA globally through the International Federation of Actors (FIA). 

Glenn Close (Albert Nobbs, Fatal Attraction) is nominated for her leading role in The Wife, a performance for which she has received a Golden Globe® and a Critics’ Choice Award. In previous years, she has won a SAG Award and earned seven additional SAG Award nominations. Her other honors include six Academy Award nominations, three Primetime Emmys, three Tony® Awards and two additional Golden Globes®. 

Laverne Cox (Orange Is the New Black, the upcoming Bad Hair) is a two-time SAG Awards winner for her performance in the Orange Is the New Black ensemble, a role that also earned her two Emmy® nominations. She previously won a Daytime Emmy as an executive producer. Cox co-presented the 25th SAG Awards nominees on Dec. 12. 

Michael Douglas (Wall Street, Basic Instinct) is a double SAG Awards nominee for the comedy series The Kominsky Method, one for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor and the other as a member of the ensemble, a role which also earned him a Golden Globe®. He previously received two Actors®: one for his lead performance in Behind the Candelabra, for which he also received an Emmy and a Golden Globe®; the other as a cast member of Traffic. His other honors include two Academy Awards and two additional Golden Globes®. 

Jodie Foster (Hotel Artemis, Taxi Driver) received an Actor® for her leading role in Nell, a performance that also earned her nominations for an Oscar® and a Golden Globe®. She similarly received numerous awards for The Silence of the Lambs, including an Oscar®, a BAFTA and a Golden Globe®. Her virtually countless other acting honors include two additional Oscars®, three BAFTAs, two Golden Globes® and a Cecil B. DeMille Award.

Hugh Grant(A Very English Scandal, Florence Foster Jenkins) received his third SAG Awards nomination, this one recognizing his lead performance in the limited series A Very English Scandal. His portrayal of ill-fated politician Jeremy Thorpe also earned him a Golden Globe® nomination. His previous honors include a BAFTA and a Golden Globe® for Four Weddings and a Funeral.

Richard Madden (Bodyguard, the upcoming Rocketman) has been nominated for two SAG Awards recognizing his ensemble performance in Game of Thrones, in which he portrayed Robb Stark. His other honors include a recent Golden Globe® for his lead role in Bodyguard and notable achievements in live theater. 

Ricky Martin (American Crime Story, The Voice) received a Primetime Emmy nomination for his supporting role as Antonio D'Amico in the limited series The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story. In addition, he has received multiple Grammys® and is known as one of the world’s best-known recording artists.

Tracy Morgan (What Men Want, The Last O.G.) received an Actor® plus five additional SAG Awards nominations for 30 Rock, recognizing Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series. He also earned two Primetime Emmy nominations and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Gary Oldman (Darkest Hour, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy) received a SAG Award, an Oscar®, a BAFTA and a Golden Globe® for his leading role performance in Darkest Hour. His other honors include an additional SAG Awards nomination, an Oscar® nomination, several BAFTA wins and a Palme d'Or nomination. 

Chris Pine (I Am the Night, Wonder Woman) is a Primetime Emmy nominee for his voice-over performance in SuperMansion. He also received international recognition for his starring performances in Hell or High Water as well as several films in the Star Trek franchise.

Keri Russell (The Americans, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes) is nominated for a SAG Award as a member of The Americans drama ensemble. Her lead role as Elizabeth Jennings also earned her three Primetime Emmy and two Golden Globe® nominations. Her first acting awards, including a Golden Globe®, recognized her performance as the title character in Felicity.

Rachel Weisz (The Favourite, My Cousin Rachel) is nominated for a SAG Award recognizing her supporting performance in The Favourite. Her portrayal of Lady Sarah also earned her nominations for an Oscar®, a Golden Globe® and a BAFTA. She previously took home an Actor® in this same category for The Constant Gardener, along with an Oscar® and a Golden Globe®.

Robin Wright (House of Cards, Wonder Woman) is nominated for a SAG Award recognizing her lead performance in the drama series House of Cards. Her portrayal of Claire Underwood earned her six previous Actor® nominations – four individual and two as an ensemble member – plus a Golden Globe® Award and five Primetime Emmy nominations. She also earned three other lead role SAG Award nominations.
