The Screen Actors Guild Awards® kicks off its online
auction to benefit the SAG Foundation every December. The Auction series features one-of-a-kind SAG Awards television
and movie memorabilia, red-carpet bleacher seats, a VIP Award Show package, backstage
tours for this year’s Actors® ceremonies and possibly set visits and celebrity lunches.

The
annual online SAG Awards Auction benefits your SAG Foundation to help make
possible the Foundation's programs providing emergency relief to members in
economic distress, video and audio preservation of the creative legacy of SAG
members, scholarships for performers and their children, emergency funds for
members with catastrophic illnesses, The Actor's Center and the Foundation's
public children's literacy programs: BookPALS (Performing Artists for Literacy

One lucky bidder will gain the chance to attend the SAG Awards and see the stars from inside the Shrine Exposition Center showroom as well as attend the exclusive post-Awards Gala, hosted by PEOPLE magazine and the Entertainment Industry Foundation. Other items up for bid include sets of two and four bleacher seats to the SAG Awards’ red carpet, a VIP backstage tour of the awards venue. Also offered in the Holiday auction will be autographed posters, exciting experiences and collectibles.

Recipients of the 16th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards® will be announced at ceremonies on Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010, simulcast from the Los Angeles Shrine Exposition Center on TNT and TBS at 8 p.m. ET/PT, 7 p.m. CT and 6 p.m. MT.
“The 16th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards” will be produced by Jeff Margolis Productions in association with Screen Actors Guild Awards®, LLC. Jeff Margolis is the executive producer and director. Kathy Connell is the producer. JoBeth Williams, Daryl Anderson, Scott Bakula, Shelley Fabares and Paul Napier are producers for SAG. Gloria Fujita O’Brien and Mick McCullough are supervising producers. Benn Fleishman is executive in charge of production. More information is available online at www.sagawards.org.
